Getting started

1. Make an account

Go to app.mathsedge.net and choose Register. You need an email address, a password, and your year level. You can also pick a main subject — that just sets what Practice shows you first, and you can change it any time.

2. Verify your email

We send you a link. Click it and you're done. You can sign in before verifying, but you cannot submit work for marking until you have.

No email? Check your junk folder first — that is where it usually is. The link also expires, so if it has been sitting there a while use Send a new link on the sign-in page.

3. Pick your subject

At the top of Practice there is a subject dropdown. Everything on the page — topics, questions, your results — follows whatever is selected there.

Currently available:

Year 9 Maths — with the full textbook
Year 10 Pre-Methods — with the full textbook
VCE Specialist 3&4 — questions only for now

4. Try one question

Leave every setting alone, press Generate question, and write something on the pad. The point of the first attempt is to see how the loop feels — not to get it right.
